Park Bo Gum Reacts To Reduced Screen Time 

When Life Gives You Tangerines lead actors Park Bo Gum and IU discussed the drama's emotional impact, audience reactions and the developing plot that has generated conversations among viewers in a special segment titled Mini Palette | Sweet Chemistry with Park Bo Gum that was posted on IU's official YouTube channel on March 22.

Park Bo Gum also noted how his character's appearance in the series had been received by fans. He said that although people applauded him, they wished there had been more scenes. Reacting to his reduced screentime, he said, "The story quickly moves into our roles as parents, but I tell my friends to keep watching because we still appear throughout."

Additionally, IU encouraged their fans that their younger players are still very important. "Our storytelling approach is unique. Even from episode one, the first scene starts with the older Ae Sun. For those who miss our younger selves, we’re still there, so please stay with us until the end, " she said. 

Viewers are still moved by the series, When Life Gives You Tangerines, which tells heartwarming and honest tales of life every week. According to streaming analytics company FlixPatrol, it has placed No. 4 globally as of March 24 and at the top of Netflix's TV show rankings in South Korea since its release.

Park Bo Gum And IU Spoke About Their On-Screen Kiss

Park Bo Gum and IU recently talked about their first awkward on-screen kiss. In an interview with Teen Vogue, he discussed his enduring friendship with IU. The actor described how they first crossed paths when they were both in their twenties at a commercial shoot and then again when he appeared in IU's drama The Producers.

Even the tiniest actions were scripted, as IU demonstrated how painstakingly that sequence was put up. A behind-the-scenes video of the event was also made available by Netflix. ""That particular scene was written down to every little detail in the script. There was even a line that said, 'You see a fist that trembles.' So we really tried to stay as loyal to what was written as possible,"  she revealed.

Park Bo Gum also mentioned how his character kissed IU's upper lip in the finale, revealing that this particular detail was indeed in the screenplay and that they adhered to it completely. He later couldn't contain his excitement at IU's development throughout the series.
