Bihar-Maharashtra Special Train Announced: In a big relief for festive travelers, Indian Railways has announced a special weekly train between Itwari in Maharashtra and Jaynagar in North Bihar, running via Dhanbad. This service comes just in time for the Diwali and Chhath festivals, when demand for train travel between Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar soars.

The train service will be a boon especially for those heading back home from cities like Raipur, Bilaspur, Ranchi, and Dhanbad to their families in Darbhanga, Madhubani, and Jaynagar. The train will have 10 Sleeper class coaches with 2 AC 3-tier coaches, 1 AC 2-tier coach and 5 General (unreserved) coaches.

This setup is designed to accommodate the high number of travelers during the festive season, especially migrant workers and families heading back home.
