IRCTC Navratri Special Food Service: To cater to the dietary needs of passengers observing fasts during Navratri, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special Falahari menu on trains.
 
This initiative aims to provide convenience and comfort to travellers who follow strict dietary restrictions during the festive period.

Navratri Special Menu On Train

The Satvik and Falahari meal options have been carefully curated to include a range of fasting-friendly foods. The menu features an array of dishes, including jeera aloo, aloo tikki, sabudana khichdi, sabudana vada, malai barfi, lassi, dry-roasted fox nuts, fasting-friendly vegetables, roasted peanuts, and plain curd.
 

Vande Bharat Passengers To Get 1 Lr Water Bottle Complimentary

- In a bid to enhance passenger experience during the Navratri festivities, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a special Falahari meal menu for passengers observing fasts.
 
- The meals can be booked through the IRCTC e-catering website or mobile app, with options for online payment or pay-on-delivery. Passengers can enjoy these Satvik thalis, priced between Rs 100 and Rs 200, delivered right to their berth at the designated station.
 
- In a separate development, the Railway Board has directed all zonal railways to provide 1-litre Rail Neer bottles to passengers on all Vande Bharat trains. This upgrade from the earlier 500ml bottles aims to enhance passenger comfort.
 
- The directive has been implemented across all Vande Bharat trains, including those on the Bhopal-Rani Kamalapati to Hazrat Nizamuddin route via Gwalior and the Khajuraho Vande Bharat.
 
 
- According to Ajit Sinha, Chief Regional Manager of IRCTC, the Railway Board has issued a circular to ensure the availability of 1-litre Rail Neer bottles on these trains, further improving the travel experience for passengers, Jagran.com reported.
