Bihar News: A dramatic incident unfolded in Lohar Toli, Dhansoi Bazaar, Buxar district, Bihar, after a man returned to his home after 23 years. A young man who had left home 23 years ago returned to his family on Monday dressed as a yogi, begging for diksha (alms).

Sarangi's Tune Revived Old Memories

With long hair, a grown beard, and the appearance of a monk, no one initially recognised him, but when he began singing songs linked to his childhood and family to the tune of the sarangi, the family members' eyes filled with tears as the monk turned out to be their child.

Upon hearing stories about his family and village, the family recognised him as their lost son, Lakhan Sharma. The dramatic incident sparked an emotional atmosphere. Locals who were also there became emotional.

Left Home In 2003

According to family members, in 2003, 15-year-old Lakhan Sharma left home angry at his father's scolding. Despite extensive searches, he was not found without, leading the family to give up hope.

Why Has Lakhan Returned To Home?

On Monday evening, Lakhan suddenly arrived in the village disguised as a yogi, carrying a sarangi in his hand. Upon receiving the news, his sister, brother-in-law, and distant relatives also arrived at the scene. Everyone urged him to abandon his renunciation and return home.

However, Lakhan, who had received initiation from a monastery in Uttar Pradesh, clearly stated that he was now following the spritual path and would not back down from his decision.

Lakhan explained that his renunciation process would be complete only when he accepted alms from his parents. Hearing this, the family became even more emotional. Finally, with a heavy heart and tearful eyes, father Deepak Sharma bid farewell to his son by offering alms. This touching scene brought tears to the eyes of everyone present. This incident has become a topic of discussion throughout the area.
