Delhi Cabinet 2025: Rekha Gupta on Thursday sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi at a grand ceremony held at Ramlilia Ground, marking the BJP's return to power in the national capital after 27 years. The oath-taking event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and several senior NDA leaders from across the country.

Along with Rekha Gupta, six BJP leaders also took oath as Cabinet ministers. The newly inducted ministers include Parvesh Verma, Kapil Mishra, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj Singh, Ashish Sood and Pankaj Kumar Singh. While the cabinet members have been announced, their respective portfolios are yet to be allocated.

Profiles Of Delhi Cabinet Ministers

Parvesh Verma
A seasoned politician, Parvesh Verma is a former Lok Sabha MP and son of ex-Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma. He won the Mehrauli seat in the 2013 Delhi Assembly polls, followed by landslide victories in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections from West Delhi. However, he was denied a BJP ticket in 2024. In the 2025 Delhi Assembly polls, he defeated former CM Arvind Kejriwal by 4,089 votes.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa
A MLA from Rajouri Garden, Sirsa served as BJP's national secretary and was previously with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). He also held the position of president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee in 2013 and 2017. After losing in 2015, he won a bypoll in 2017 and reclaimed his seat in the 2025 elections, defeating AAP’s Dhanwati Chandela by 18,190 votes.

Ravinder Indraj Singh
Son of former MLA Indraj Singh, Ravinder Indraj Singh secured a decisive victory from Bawana in the 2025 elections. Representing the BJP, he won by a margin of 31,475 votes, defeating AAP’s Jai Bhagawan Upkar.

Kapil Mishra
A former minister in Arvind Kejriwal’s cabinet, Mishra held key portfolios from 2015-2017 before leaving AAP to join BJP in 2019. He lost the 2020 Assembly elections from Model Town but made a strong comeback in 2025, winning Karawal Nagar by defeating AAP’s Manoj Kumar Tyagi with a margin of 23,355 votes.

Ashish Sood
Elected as an MLA from Janakpuri, Ashish Sood defeated AAP's Parveen Kumar by 18,766 votes. A prominent BJP leader in Delhi, he has been actively involved in party affairs.

Pankaj Kumar Singh
Representing Vikaspuri, Singh secured 1,35,564 votes in the 2025 elections. He defeated sitting AAP MLA Mahinder Yadav by 12,876 votes, solidifying BJP’s hold in the constituency.
