Jaipur Hit And Run News: A hit-and-run incident in Jaipur, Rajasthan, has left three people dead and several others injured, according to police reports received on Monday evening. The incident unfolded in the Nahargarh area, where a speeding car struck pedestrians and motorcyclists, leading to chaos in the streets.

Sub-Inspector Kanhaiyalal from SMS Police Station earlier stated that nine people were injured in the accident. Of them, two died on the spot, while four were admitted to a local trauma centre and three were discharged. However, one more victim succumbed to injuries on Tuesday morning, raising the death toll to three.

The NDTV Hindi report cited eyewitnesses as revealing that, a white Creta (registration number RJ14UJ6504) was being driven at high speed when it lost control and mowed down pedestrians and two-wheeler riders. The shocking nature of the crash was captured in a disturbing video that has surfaced online.

Witnesses described the car's speed as alarming, with reports suggesting it hit multiple vehicles in the vicinity before fleeing the scene. Following the incident, the driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped.

Emergency teams from both the Nahargarh police station and the Accident Police Station North responded immediately, transporting the injured to SMS Hospital for urgent care. The police have since recovered the abandoned Creta and later detained the driver who was in the influencer of alcohol.

The incident has caused significant unrest in the area, prompting a swift response from local authorities, including Additional SP Bajrang Singh and BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya, who arrived on the scene to assess the situation.

Additional DCP Bajrang Singh as stating that, the driver, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was driving at approximately 70 km/h when the accident occurred, resulting in severe injuries to others, including Virendra, Monesh Soni, Deepak Soni, Mohammad Jalaluddin, Vijay, Zebunnisa and Anshika. Following the crash, a crowd attempted to detain the driver, leading to further tension in the area.
