Additionally, during the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid in connection with the investigation of the financial corruption at the hospital, answer sheets of recruitment examination and copies of tenders have been recovered from the flat of a relative of Ghosh near Dum Dum Airport, jagran.com reported.

On August 9, the partially naked body of the trainee doctor was found inside the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. She was allegedly raped before being strangulated to death. The autopsy confirmed sexual assault and 25 external and internal injuries on her body.

Meanwhile, Kolkata doctor rape, murder accused Sanjay Roy, has not given consent for the narco test. Following this, Kolkata's Sealdah Court has refused to give permission for Roy’s narco test on CBI's application. As a rule, narco test of anyone is not done without his/her consent.

The purpose of conducting the narco test was to check whether the accused is speaking the truth or lying. During the narco analysis test, a drug called sodium pentothal is injected into the person's body, which puts him in a state of hypnosis. In most cases, the accused gives the correct information. The CBI had earlier conducted a polygraph test of the accused Sanjay Roy.

Roy was arrested on August 6 after CCTV footage captured him entering the RG Kar Medical Hospital. His Bluetooth headset, which served as the major evidence, was discovered by the probe agency at the crime spot.

As per Kavita Sarkar, who is representing the accused Roy, the latter maintained that he was innocent during a polygraph test. He was asked 10 questions by the CBI, including what he did after committing the crime, as per the TOI. The accused, however, told the federal probe agency that he didn’t murder the female doctor.
