Nashik: In a tragic incident, a young man named Sahil Lavhare allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend, Vaishnavi, to death and called her fiancé to inform him of her murder. Hours later, the accused's body was found hanging from a tree just two kilometres from the scene.
Nashik Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend To Death, Then Dies By Suicide
According to a report by NDTV, the incident occurred on Friday night near Vansampada Garden in Nashik's Indiranagar area. Distraught over the news that his ex-girlfriend was about to marry someone else, Lavhare met with her to confront her. The two reportedly argued for about 30 minutes before the confrontation turned violent.
In a fit of rage, Sahil stabbed Vaishnavi multiple times, killing her on the spot. Hours later, Sahil died by suicide, and his body was found hanging from a tree just two kilometres away from the crime scene.
The Final Moments Before Murder
The most shocking aspect of this case was the phone conversation Sahil had with the victim's fiancé minutes before the crime. "Sahil is here, come quickly," the victim told her fiancé on the same call.
Her fiancé immediately left work and headed towards the location. He did not disconnect the call and listened to the two arguing for nearly 22 minutes. Suddenly, Sahil told the man that the woman had been killed.

Vaishnavi was a resident of Amravati district, while Sahil was reportedly from Umarkhed in Yavatmal district. They were in a relationship. Following the incident, police have initiated an investigation and are trying to ascertain who informed Sahil that she wanted to marry another man.
