Vishakhapatnam-Bengaluru Special Train: In a major update for the passengers, the Railways will operate a festive special train between Vishakhapatnam and Bengaluru to manage the extra rush. As per the advisory, train numbers 08583 and 08584 will run between the two key cities of south from October 6 to November 25. The officials stated that the service will provide additional travel option to the passengers, further suggesting them to plan their travel accordingly.
Vishakhapatnam-Bengaluru Train: Key Details
As per the advisory, train number 08583 will operate between Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru from October 6 to November 24 every Tuesday. The train will depart from Visakhapatnam at 7 pm and will arrive Bengaluru 12.45 pm the next day. In the return journey, train number 08584 will run from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam between October 7 and November 25. The festive special train will depart from Bengaluru every Wednesday from 3.30 pm and will arrive Visakhapatnam the next day.

Apart from this, ahead of Diwali and Chhath, the Railways will operate two special trains to Mumbai via Lucknow to provide relief to passengers facing long waiting lists amid the heavy festive-season rush.
In view of the expected surge in passenger traffic during the festive season, officials of the Operations Department of the Northern Railway’s Lucknow Division had sent a proposal to the Railway Board seeking approval to operate two special trains. The Board has now issued orders for running the services.

The train will run via Kanpur Central, Orai, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, Bina, Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nashik Road, Igatpuri, Kalyan and Thane.
