Noida: A law student tragically lost his life after falling from the seventh floor of an apartment building in Noida under suspicious circumstances. Authorities are investigating whether this was a tragic accident or if there are other factors involved.

The victim, identified as Tapas, was pursuing an LLB degree at a private university in Noida. He was a resident of Ghaziabad and had gone to Supreme Towers in Sector 99 on Saturday to attend a party hosted at a friend’s seventh-floor apartment.

Shortly after the gathering began, the police were alerted that Tapas had fallen from the building. Emergency services responded immediately, but Tapas was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has since been sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

The Noida Police have launched a thorough investigation and are questioning Tapas' friends who were present at the party. Authorities are exploring all possible angles to determine whether the fall was an accident or if foul play might be involved.

A statement from the media cell of the Noida Police Commissionerate confirmed that Tapas' family has been informed of the tragedy. "The matter is being meticulously examined from every perspective. Further legal action will be taken based on the family’s complaint and the findings of the investigation," the statement added.
