Barmer News: Rajasthan police have arrested three individuals for allegedly assaulting a man suspected of stealing a motorcycle. The incident took place in the Halka area, under the Gudamalani Police Station jurisdiction.

The victim, identified as Shravan Kumar, was reportedly attacked by his neighbour, Isharam. A video capturing the assault surfaced on social media on January 11, prompting immediate police action.

Authorities revealed that Shravan Kumar has a criminal record, with two previous cases for vehicle theft and one for alleged sexual assault. Despite this, police stressed that violence is unlawful, regardless of an individual's background.

Following the incident, Shravan Kumar was taken to the police station, where a case was filed based on his complaint. "In light of the seriousness of the incident, the complainant was brought to the station and a report was filed according to regulations," officials stated.

To investigate the matter, police set up multiple teams and immediately arrested two of the suspects involved in the assault. "Upon receiving information, our teams worked diligently to apprehend those responsible. As a result, two individuals have already been arrested," police confirmed.

Later, another suspect, Vela Ram, son of Udaram and a resident of Kharwa, was also taken into custody. "Three people have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing," authorities added.
