Morena, MP: A case has come to light from Madhya Pradesh where VIP treatment was given to a politician. While ordinary citizens often find bank doors shut even before the official 5:00 PM closing time, a cooperative bank in Morena literally unlocked its doors after hours for a ruling party politician to go to the restroom.
On Wednesday night at 8:30 PM, a cooperative bank was specially opened to accommodate Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) state president Shyam Tailor. The incident has triggered widespread public outrage after a video went viral showing the BJP leader and his entourage entering the secured premises late at night.
The incident took place when Tailor arrived in Morena to attend a ‘Yuva Samvad’ (Youth Dialogue) event at the Garg Seva Sadan in Jiwajiganj. He was accompanied by a high-profile entourage, including Devendra Pratap Singh Tomar ('Ramu Bhaiya'), son of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar.
Just 100 metres before reaching the venue, Tailor's convoy abruptly stops outside the cooperative bank. Within a short time, the channel gate of the bank's main entrance and then the locks of the internal gates were opened. BJYM State President Tailor, Ramu Bhaiya, and five-six other people entered the bank and came out after eight to ten minutes.
Bank Gates Opened At 8:30 PM
Shyam Tailor and other leaders needed to use the toilet, which is why the bank gate was opened. This happened despite the fact that Garg Seva Sadan, the event venue located just a few steps away, features hotel-like rooms, toilets, and all other amenities. It has been reported that the bank locks were opened on the instructions of BJP leader Anil Alli, husband of Gita Goyal, the chairperson of the bank's board of directors. As the matter gained traction, bank manager Arjun Singh Parihar stated that only the gallery was opened for toilet access, and no one went inside the bank.

"Before going to the event, the State President also had to visit the Shri Ram Janki Mandir for darshan (prayers). Meanwhile, he needed to use the restroom, so he went into the bank to use the toilet. There was no other event in the bank," said Kishore Sharma, Vice President, BJYM Morena..
