Railway New Timetable 2026: As Indian Railways is set to implement a new timetable from January 1, 2026, Several passenger trains operating in the North Eastern Railway’s Gorakhpur Junction, Varanasi Division (BSB), and Izzatnagar Division (IZN) will see revised arrival and departure timings.

The railway administration will release the updated timetable soon, reported.

List Of Affected Trains Passing Gorakhpur Junction

Around 27 trains passing through Gorakhpur Junction are likely to have changes in their passing times. These include major trains such as Amritsar–Saharsa, Gwalior–Barauni, Gonda–Chhapra, Delhi–Sitamarhi, Anand Vihar–Muzaffarpur, Anand Vihar–Bapudham Motihari, Amritsar–New Jalpaiguri, Udaipur–New Jalpaiguri, Delhi–Kishanganj, Lucknow–Patna and Anand Vihar–Raxaul.

Most changes are expected to be in the range of five to ten minutes to improve operational efficiency.

How Many Trains Will Be Affected At Gorakhpur Junction

Trains originating from Gorakhpur, including Gorakhpur–Siwan Passenger, Gorakhpur–Yeshvantpur Express, and Gorakhpur–Kolkata Express, are also slated for timing revisions.

Affected Trains In Varanasi Division

In Varanasi Division, timings of several trains on routes to Banaras, Banaras City, Jaunpur, Prayagraj and Lucknow will be revised.

New Time-Table To Impact Izzatnagar Division

In Izzatnagar Division, arrival and departure times of around 40 trains on routes to Delhi, Kathgodam, Ramnagar, Tanakpur, Lucknow, and Bareilly will be changed.

Railway officials said the new timetable will improve punctuality, reduce crowding at busy stations, and provide greater convenience to passengers.
