Railways News: The Railways on Wednesday announced that a special halt has been provided for several key trains at Patna Sahib station on the occasion of the 359th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh. While providing details, the authority stated that a special two-minute halt has been provided for 38 trains from December 19 to January 2, 2026. It further stated that the decision was taken as a large number of devotees from several states are likely to participate in the religious event. The Railways has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra stated that a total of 38 key trains, including Purva Express, Vibhuti Express, Duronto Express, Maharana Pratap Ananya Express, Mahanand Express, Dwarika Express, Bagmati Express, and Garib Rath Express, will stop at Patna Sahib station for two minutes, providing a major relief to the passengers. He further stated that this decision will significantly facilitate pilgrims' travel to the Patna Sahib Gurdwara.

Train number 12361, the Asansol-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Express, from 11.57 pm to 11.59 pm

Train number 12362, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai-Asansol Express, from 1.54 pm to 1.56 pm

Train number 12545 Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Karmabhoomi Express from 11.57 pm to 11.59 pm

Train number 12546 Lokmanya Tilak - Raxaul Karmabhoomi Express from 10.49 pm to 10.51 pm

Train number 14223, the Rajgir-Varanasi Budhpurnima Express, from 10.59 pm to 11.01 pm

Train number 14224 Varanasi-Rajgir Budhpurnima Express from 3.31 am to 3.33 am
