In a shocking incident, two inmates serving sentences in Rajasthan's Bharatpur Open Jail escaped the prison to travel to a Jaipur nightclub for a birthday party. However, a fight broke out at the club, resulting in the murder of a 25-year-old man. Police have arrested the two convicts and six others connected to the case. The incident has raised serious allegations about the prison's management.
What Happened At The Club?
The cops claimed that the incident took place at around 2:30 am on Monday, at a nightclub named "Ikka-The Club." The accused gathered at the site to celebrate Kuldeep, alias Kullu Gurjar, a murder convict's, birthday. He escaped from the jail with Rajesh Gurjar, who is a rape convict.The deceased has been identified as Annu Gurjar, a resident of Bakhedi village in Dholpur, who was Kuldeep's cousin.

The police said that the birthday celebration soon took an unexpected turn when Annu slapped a young woman accompanying Anuj Gurjar, who is a friend of Kuldeep and Rajesh.
Following this, Anuj and his accomplices allegedly stabbed Annu with knives. The accused later took Anny to Jaipuria Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Investigations Underway
An official from Mansarover police station said that they are investigating the role of the two Bharatpur Open Jail prisoners in the killing. The two convicts left the jail after failing to report a compulsory evening roll call.
While Kuldeep is incarcerated for the Goldy murder case and the murder of a Pakistani national, Anuj was out on bail in a Bharatpur couple murder case and had recently become a partner in the nightclub. Jaipur cops have sought a report from the Bharatpur jail administration about the escape of the two jail inmates.
