Railways News: The long-distance trains to the northern states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, are operating late due to the dense fog, especially in the morning hours. The Railways stated that additional services are being planned on these routes, adding that disruption in train services has led to inconveniences for the passengers. The Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express on Friday arrived in Delhi at 9.45 PM, over ten hours behind its usual time of arrival at 11 AM. The passengers of the train reportedly struggled for basic needs, including food and drinking water, leading to the chaos. The Railways has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

Arvind and Babita Singh, the passengers of the Rajdhani Express from Ranchi to Delhi, asserted that they were just provided a single meal even after the train was delayed for ten hours, reported Jagran.com. The staffers informed the passengers that there was no extra food or drinking water on the train, asking them to adjust with the single meal. As per the rules, the railway management is responsible for providing food and drinking water to the passengers if a train is delayed.
