Tamil Nadu Weather Update

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) had issued a yellow nowcast warning for light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning across parts of Tamil Nadu.

The affected areas include Kanyakumari, Tenkasi, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai districts and Karaikal. The IMD has cautioned that the sudden showers may lead to waterlogging, slippery roads, and traffic disruptions in low-lying and urban pockets.
