Meta Connect 2024: During the annual conference at Menlo Park, the tech giant announced a variety of important announcements including the new AR glasses, Quest 3s and Meta AI features for WhatsApp users. The new feature will now give the ability to interact with users with Meta AI in real-time with voice commands, eliminating the need to use their hands to type.
As reported earlier, the users will also be able to choose Meta AI voice which is designed after popular celebrities like John Cena. Do note that the feature is currently available in English language and will get support of other languages in coming months.
Meta AI Voice: How To Use
If you want to try out the Meta AI voice commands, you will have to tap on the waveform button and speak to Meta AI. It will automatically answer your questions. Not only that, the users can now send their photos in real-time and get changes, translations and other things done. It can remove unwanted objects, adjust lighting and much more.
The WhatsApp Business users can also get their hands on Meta AI and handle customer inquiries. AI will be generating the responses to the questions including products, prices, business hours and much more. It can also recommend products and answer about discounts, and shipping. However, there are still chances of getting occasional inaccuracies in AI-generated responses.
It remains to be seen how much time will Meta take to completely expand the feature in the global markets.
Meanwhile, the company has introduced the Orion AR glasses along with the affordable Quest 3s starting at $299.99 at the annual developer conference. The company has also introduced a few improvements for the Ray Ban smart glasses along with a transparent limited edition which is available in the US market.
