Xiaomi HyperOS Update: Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker, introduced the Xiaomi HyperOS as the successor to the MIUI 14 in India. The software debuted on Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, POCO X6 Pro and more phones. In the latest series, after introducing the update for the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, the company is now introducing the update on the vanilla Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi 13C and more latest devices.

Several users on X posted a screengrab and claimed the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G has received the HyperOS update. Moreover, Gizmochina reported the Redmi Note 13, Redmi 13C/POCO C65 and Redmi Note 11 Pro/POCO X4 Pro (Android 13 update for Mi/POCO Pilots) are now getting the update. The latest Note models debuted with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. With the update, the models will receive the latest Android 14 version.

According to the X post, the size of the update on the Note 13 Pro is 4.8GB. While the features may vary on these phones depending on the hardware, HyperOS gets more enhanced lock screen customisations, new fonts, smoother animations and more. To download the update, you can head to the Settings app.

Xiaomi HyperOS: How To Update?

Step 1: Open the 'Settings' app on an eligible Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO device

Step 2: Tap 'About Phone' and then the MIUI version (the phone will automatically check for updates)

Step 3: Once the HyperOS update changelog appears, download the package
