Samsung Galaxy M56 5G Launched: Nothing has confirmed the launch of its CMF Phon 2 Pro which will take place on April 28, 2025. The company has also confirmed the processor on which the device will run and it's a MediaTek Dimensity CPU. Price is currently not confirmed for the device. Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy M56 5G in India today. It comes equipped with a rear triple-camera setup and a 12-MP selfie shooter. This handset is 30 percent slimmer than its predecessor the Galaxy M55 5G which came out last year. In the display department, it has 36 per cent thinner bezels and also has 33 per cent more brightness than its previous version.
Features and Specs
The Samsung M56 5G comes with a 6.73-inch full HD+ (1,080X2,340 pixels) sAMOLED+ display and supports 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. The device sports an octa-core CPU coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has Android 15 out of the box with One UI 7 skin on top. The device is promised with six years of major OS upgrades and six years of security updates as well.

For clicking pictures the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G comes with a rear triple camera setup, which sports a 50MP main lens with optical image stabilisation(OIS) support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, it has a 12MP front shooter which comes with HDR support. There are other AI camera tools as well that the device has like an object eraser, image clipper and edit suggestions.
In the battery department, it has a 5000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. For screen protection, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The device is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 180 grams.
Pricing and Availability in India
The pricing for Samsung Galaxy M56 5G begins at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. You can get the handset on Amazon as well as Samsungs dedicated India website when the sales begin on April 23 at 12 PM IST. You can also avail Rs 3,000 instant discount if you are an HDFC bank Cardholder. It will be available in Black and Light Green colours.
