This is just in and we finally might have the official release dates of One UI 7 for Galaxy devices in India. The wait had been long and due to a major bug issue the initial rollout for Galaxy devices was halted by the Korean Tech giant.

According to a post by a popular tipster @tarunvats33 (Tarun Vats) on X (Twitter), the official timeline for the India region has been revealed by Samsung.

- Galaxy S24 (April 25)
- Galaxy S24+ (April 25)
- Galaxy S24 Ultra (April 25)
- Galaxy Z Flip6 (April 25)
- Galaxy Z Fold6 (April 25)
- Galaxy Tab S10+ (May 25)
- Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (May 25)
- Galaxy Z Flip5 (May 25)
- Galaxy Z Fold5 (May 25)
- Galaxy S23 (May 25)
- Galaxy S23+ (May 25)
- Galaxy S23 Ultra (May 25)

There are expected release dates for other devices as well which can be seen in the tipsters X (Twitter) post, which you can go through.

This update is based on Android 15, and the flagship devices that were released last year were the ones to get it first which included, the S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, along with a few devices from the A series as well.

What Prompted The Halt

The Korean Tech giant has not yet provided any detailed explanation on why the update was halted, several user reports, especially from South Korea pointed out that a major bug might have been the issue.

The issue was first highlighted by leaker Ice Universe and it gained much traction after they shared the news on X (Twitter), claiming that a bug was responsible for this issue, and prompted Samsung to halt the update from its servers globally.

What Upgrades Do You Get With One UI 7?

There are several new implements that the Korean tech giant has added to its One UI 7 update, focusing on better personalisation and user experience. Major highlights are as follows-

Now Bar- Something similar to what its competitor Apple has introduced in its latest iPhones the Dynamic Island, the Now Bar will offer interactive notifications and live updates.

Enhanced and easy media casting and syncing across devices.

Photo Tools- Advanced tools like audio eraser and enhanced editing have also been introduced.

A Renewed home screen design with more flexibility in customisations.

These updates promise to bring an enhanced user experience that is much smoother and more personalized according to your needs Galaxy users.
