As part of this initiative, an agreement was signed on Wednesday between the Panchayati Raj Department and IIT Kanpur to conduct specialised training sessions aimed at enhancing administrative and leadership capabilities among panchayat members.
The agreement was formalised in the presence of Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, Principal Secretary Anil Singh, and Director Amit Kumar Singh. Under the program, around 500 panchayat representatives will participate in a five-day training course organised by IIT Kanpur.
