Ahmedabad Viral Video: Although everyone is busy in their own life, YET, how ‘busy’ can one be to not even check on a poor road accident victim? Apparently, the sad answer to this insensitive question seemed ‘very busy’, as per this viral incident. The tragic incident took place in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad at Bhulabhai Park Crossroad, where a man driving a scooter was brutally hit by a bus on a busy road.

However, apart from the tragedy, what was further triggering was the reaction of passers-by, who watched the incident unfold. As soon as the bus ran away after hitting the man, the rest of the commuters also took off without even checking in on the victim.

The incident was captured on a CCTV camera that was installed nearby. The accident took place on April 19, as per the data seen in the CCTV footage. As soon as the clip went viral on social media, a majority of people were left shocked and outraged over the ‘insensitivity’ that was displayed by the commuters. Sadly enough, it took a good amount of time for people to finally come near the victim to check on him.

The man, as per reports, passed away due to the accident. Meanwhile, the bus driver, Arham, was charged under multiple IPC Sections and is reportedly currently in police custody.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘RoadsOfMumbai’. The post was captioned, “Tragic accident in Ahmedabad captured on CCTV. The authorities and citizens should take road safety seriously. But we have plenty of human lives, so no one cares if some of them die like this.”

The video went viral after it was shared on social media. Most people were shocked over the fact that it took a good amount of time until someone finally stopped to check the man, while the rest chastised the public in general for such a heartless reaction to such a gruesome hit and run case. The post was shared 2 days ago and pulled 813K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Look how people passed through. This is the value of human life here. Please prefer a car even if we need to eat less and drive safely,” a user said. “No value of human life, absolutely sad state of affairs. The bus driver did not even stop after the accident, more than that most people just moved by casually as if nothing happened. Sir, please do something about this kind of accident,” added a second person.

“There is a reason why Civic sense needs to be taught at school. The parents who didn't stop to help the person.. their kids will do the same and it will go on and on,” wrote another. “How can that driver just run? And where was his presence of mind crossing the signal with such speed- same with the motorbike guy, and why wouldn’t you brake immediately?” wrote another.
“It's shocking people actually kept continuing and it took a good amount of time before somebody even came to the guy!” commented the next.
