Viral Video: VFX can either make a show or can completely break it. And despite the same tech being hailed for one of the best works in the cinema industry altogether, it's safe to say that Indian TV dramas STILL have a long way to go when it comes to ‘believable’ VFXs. Yes, the term ‘believable’ is the highlight here, because believe it or not but some Indian daily soaps are more popular for their downright ‘unbelievable’ VFXs.
Adding to the list, a new one went viral, which made headlines for its bizarre VFX work. The video was from the Star Plus show ‘Nazar’, which was about a kid falling from a cliff. However, the way the entire thing was edited, instead left people laughing rather than feeling sad for the tragic scene.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘terakyalenadena’. The post was captioned, “These TV serial's VFX are going out of hands.”

The video left netizens laughing uncontrollably, making it go viral. Most people especially found the kid’s nonchalant reaction funny, while the rest commented on the acting skills that was displayed by adult actors. The video was shared yesterday and pulled 535K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Eat 5 star do nothing,” a user said. “Still better than Adipurush,” added a second person. “I still can't stop watching it, can someone explain why?” wrote a third user. “Bachey ko koi fikar he nahi hai k wo gir raha hai (The kid is least bothered about the fact that he is falling from a deadly cliff),” wrote a fourth person.
“And the oscar award for best child actor goes to ‘noBODY’(found),” added a fifth person. “Free mobile app edit Is better than this,” joked another. “89 missed calls from the Bahubali team,” added another. “These vfx looks like they have been done by political parties in the cell, no one thinks it real, but everyone enjoys them lol,” wrote the next.
