Viral Video: The 40-year-old Russian actor, Polina Menshikh, lost her life during a Ukrainian air strike that took place in the Russian-occupied Ukraine region, eastern Ukraine's Donbas. The sad incident took place on November 19, when the actor was performing for the Russian military to celebrate the holidays. A video of the deadly air strike was also shared on social media, which instantly went viral and left social media shocked. The reports of the actor’s demise were later confirmed by both countries according to a Reuters’ report.  

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘UpToDateNewsSvc’. The post was captioned, “WATCH: moment Ukraine bombs Russian R&R in Donetsk killing Polina Menshikh #PolinaMenshikh.”

As soon as the video was shared on social media, people began to react to it and made it go viral. Most expressed their sadness over the incident and blamed the deadly war for the suffering, while others expressed their grief over the loss of endless lives that are increasing every other day. The video was shared yesterday and pulled views in thousands.

Taking to the internet, people shared their take. “Rest in peace, bad luck,” a user said. “This is just too sad, even the art and culture are suffering because of the wars of today,” added a second person. “Russian Actress Polina Menshikh was killed in a Ukrainian attack while she was performing for Russian troops in a Russian-controlled area of eastern Ukraine,” added a third netizen. “#Russia #singer killed in occupied #Ukraine after missile hits the concert hall. Where is war even taking us?” asked a fourth.
