Viral Video: Of course, plants and other green vegetables are edible. That’s how vegetarians are alive after all. Kidding, but not to forget that there are certain nutrients and such which can only be obtained from a plant based diet. However, the beautiful ‘dandelions’ being edible surely came as a huge shock to many, after a woman shared a video of ‘cooking’ them . In fact, she further claimed that the ‘dish’ would taste like chicken. Yes, take your time to ‘digest’ that. The said video went viral almost immediately and received all kinds of reactions from people.

The woman also shared the entire recipe along with the clip. The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘saloma_hershberger’. The post was captioned, “This is how I fried my dandelions use freshly picked dandelions wash really well you want to make sure they were not sprayed with any chemicals.”

The video went viral and pulled a mixed reaction. Some people refused to believe that the woman’s recipe was edible, while the rest advocated for her and shared similar beliefs like the unique cook. The video was shared four days ago and pulled thousands of likes.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “How I got my dandelions to taste like chicken. I fed them to the chickens first, and then ate the chicken” a user joked. “Why are you on here lying,” added a second person. “S u make homemade butter, homemade all that to make DANDELIONS,” added a next. “Except if you pick the wrong one they could be diabetic dandelions. Just eat chicken and stop making plants taste like chicken. God gave us animals so we could kill them and eat them,” joked a fourth.

“No matter what you do to dandelions they will still taste like dandelions. But you can definitely learn to like them, I cooked some last summer, they were pretty good but I burnt them lol. This year I think I’ll try to make honey out of them instead,” wrote another. “I thought this was a joke... but they're full of vitamins A, B, C, and D.. potassium, zinc, and iron! I stand corrected. Thanks for sharing,” commented another.
