United States President Donald Trump on Thursday once again grabbed attention with his playful remarks at a White House event. In his address, Trump appeared to mock French President Emmanuel Macron, claiming that he refused to send ships when the US asked him for help in the Middle East. This comes after Trump recently made a public jibe about Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stating that he didn't think “he'd (MBS) be kissing my ass.”
Trump Mocks French Prez
In his usual style of describing events, Trump said, “I called up France, Macron, whose wife treats him extremely badly and he’s still recovering from the right to the jaw.” His comment referred to a footage from last year, which showed France’s first lady Brigitte Macron appearing to slap Macron moments before their arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam. Macron was later spotted with a red eye, which instantly triggered a storm of rumours about what could have happened to him.
As the video went viral, Macron clarified that the couple was “bickering and rather, joking around,” something and that there was no truth in the speculation. This is not the first time that Trump has mocked world leaders during the ongoing war with Iran. He had earlier ridiculed Iran's threats to strike US companies as "BB guns".

Trump Boasts About 'Phenomenal' Job
Reflecting on his time in office, Trump praised his own performance, saying he has done a “phenomenal” job. He talked about the different labels people use for him, including “king.” Trump said, "They call me KING now, do you believe it?" before adding, "I'm such a king I can't get a ballroom approved."
Later, in a televised address to the nation, Trump said the US was nearing success in its military objectives in the conflict with Iran. He claimed that US forces had significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities, including its navy and air force, while also damaging its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
