Zara Dar, a YouTuber who recently sparked headlines by quitting her PhD to pursue a career as an adult content creator on OnlyFans, has taken an unconventional approach to sharing her academic knowledge. Dar revealed that she is now uploading STEM-related videos to adult video platforms, blending her passion for education with her new career path.
Responding to an X (formerly Twitter) post that read, “Poorly explain what you do for work,” Dar replied, “I teach math and science,” alongside a screenshot from one of her videos on PornHub. The image featured her explaining neural networks, highlighting her commitment to making complex topics accessible—even in non-traditional spaces.
Zara Dar’s post highlighted two screenshots of neural network videos. While the video garnered nearly a million views on YouTube and 32,000 on Pornhub, Dar revealed she earned USD 1,000 (INR 86,457)per million views on Pornhub compared to just USD 340 (INR 29,393) on YouTube.
LinkedIn Blocks Zara Dar’s Account
Zara Dar further revealed on X that LinkedIn blocked her account following her announcement about teaching AI on PornHub. Dar explained that she shared a post comparing ad revenue per view on YouTube versus PornHub, where she uploads her educational videos. While the post gained traction on LinkedIn and drew interest from prominent professionals, her account was unexpectedly blocked without warning.
“While the post went semi-viral on LinkedIn with many Top Voices reaching out to me, my account was unexpectedly blocked without prior notice,” she posted on X.
