Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers is gearing up to launch the latest version of the Swift hatchback in India next month. This new model will bring a bunch of updates to its design, features, technology and powertrain. Alongside this, Maruti Suzuki has begun testing the next-generation Dzire compact sedan, expected to launch later this year and will be based on the new Swift.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift - Exterior 

Maruti Suzuki Dzire compact sedan has been spotted on roads but it was heavily covered so its design wasn’t clearly visible. However, some exterior design changes are expected like a new grille, sleek LED headlights with daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, and updated bumpers for a distinctive appearance. It might also sport new alloy wheels and redesigned LED tail lights, although the overall shape and size should remain similar.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift - Interior 

Talking about the interior of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, it will receive a significantly upgraded cabin similar to the upcoming Swift. It is expected to sport more features, improved technology and a spacious interior. It may come with a 360-degree camera and an electric sunroof, which would be first-in-segment features compared to its rivals.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift - Engine Specs 

Talking about its engine specs, the new Dzire is expected to get a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from the Z-series, replacing the current K-series engine. This engine will also be used in the new Swift and will offer the same power and torque but with improved efficiency. It will come with a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Additionally, the Dzire will likely offer a petrol-CNG dual fuel option in select variants.
