Maruti Suzuki Swift: Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers is gearing up to launch the 2024 Swift hatchback in India on May 9. Before the launch, they've given a sneak peek into the car's design and features. Bookings for the 2024 Swift have been opened at a starting price of Rs 11,000.

Maruti Suzuki Swift - New Engine
As we reported yesterday, details about the new Maruti Suzuki Swift have already been leaked online, including information on its engine and fuel efficiency. The car will be equipped with a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It will be available with both a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT gearbox. The engine is capable of delivering a power output of 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque while promising an impressive mileage of 25.72 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient options in its segment.
Maruti Suzuki Swift - Safety
Talking about the safety of the upcoming new Swift, it will be equipped with six airbags, aiming to enhance its safety features. It has also performed well in crash tests, earning a four-star safety rating from Japan NCAP. Higher variants are expected to offer additional features like a 360-degree camera and a Head-up Display (HuD).
Maruti Suzuki Swift - Design
The design updates for the new Swift were unveiled during its launch in Japan last year. The car will be available in five variants initially. Changes in design include an updated grille, redesigned bumpers and new alloy wheels. Additionally, the rear door handles have been moved to a more conventional position.
Maruti Suzuki Swift - Interior
Talking about the interior of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift, it will boast several changes such as a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a larger Multi-Information Display (MID) for the instrument cluster, an Arkamys sound system, wireless charging and rear AC vents. The interior is also expected to feature new seat upholstery and materials, enhancing the overall feel of the cabin.
