Upcoming Skoda Cars In India: Czech automaker Skoda Auto is gearing up to strengthen its vehicle portfolio in India as there are several launches lined up for the next year. Skoda recently announced that it will be launching a new sub-compact SUV in the country. Along with that, there are speculations about several other Skoda vehicles that are anticipated to be launched in India by 2025. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Skoda vehicles in India in the coming year.
Skoda Sub-Compact SUV
Skoda recently announced that they will soon be launching a new sub-compact SUV in the Indian market. This compact SUV will be launched in the sub-compact SUV segment to compete with models such as Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Punch and more. Specific details about the SUV have not yet been revealed, however, it is anticipated that the SUV will be launched in early months of 2025.
Skoda Kushaq/Slavia Facelift
Skoda Kushaq SUV was launched in the Indian market July 2021 and the Skoda Slavia sedan was launched next year in March 2022. Both the models are due for the next generation update with new features and design. It is likely that the Kushaq and Slavia facelifts will be launched in the next year with new updated features such as Level 2 ADAS.
New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq
The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq was unveiled last year globally, however, it has not yet made its way to the Indian market. Considering the Kodiaq SUV is sold in the Indian market, it is likely that the new-gen Kodiaq will be launched within the next 12 months. The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq has been updated with cosmetic changes and interior updates. Mechanically, the Kodiaq SUV will remain the same.
New-Gen Skoda Superb
Like the Kodiaq, the Skoda Superb also received a new-gen update for all global markets. Skoda India has recently launched the previous generation Superb in India after its discontinuation. The new-gen Skoda Superb is also likely to be launched in India soon with similar updates as the Kodiaq, while retaining its powertrain configuration.

New-Gen Skoda Octavia
Skoda Octavia has been a popular offering by the Czech automaker across the world, known for its sporty and thrilling driving experience. The new-gen Skoda Octavia was also recently unveiled globally. The Octavia sedan was also discontinued in India due to stricter emission norms. However, the new-gen Skoda Octavia will be equipped with an engine that is compliant with the norms and will then be brought to India, likely by 2025.
