IND vs ENG, ODI World Cup 2023: India continued their remarkable run in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 as they clinched their sixth successive victory in the tournament, beating England by 100 runs.
With a massive win over the defending champions, Rohit Sharma-led Indian team is the only undefeated side in the tournament as they keep their dominance in the points table, claiming the top spot by leapfrogging South Africa.
The Men in Blue have 12 points under their belt with six wins out of six matches as they stand on the brink of becoming the first side to make it to the semifinals.
Cricket Fraternity was quick to react and congratulate the Indian team after their thumping win over England in Lucknow.
Former India batter and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar lauded the team for their remarkable performance against England as he loved the brand of cricket team displayed in the all-important game.

Former India all-rounder Suresh Raina extended wishes as he mentioned the spectacular bowling effort from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami who shared seven wickets between them.

Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad praised the Men in Blue for making it six wins out of six matches as they defended a total for the first time in the ongoing tournament, having chased down the totals in the previous five fixtures.

Talking about the match, India despite suffering a few early blows managed to reach 229/9 in their 50 overs with some crucial contributions from Suryakumar Yadav (49) and KL Rahul (39).
Defending the target, Bumrah (3/32) and Shami (4/22) led from the front with promising support from the spinners as well to bowl Jos Buttler's side for just 129 runs in 34.5 overs.
