IND U-19 vs AUS U-19: The India U-19 team defeated Australia U-19 and won the three-match Youth ODI series on Friday. India's star middle-order batters Vidant Trivedi and Rahul Kumar helped the team bounce back post Vaibhav Suryavanshi's inability to fire, and then the bowlers Khilan Patel and Udhav Mohan rattled Australia's batting attack.

Trivedi and Rahul Kumar take India to 280 upfront

India's U-19 star opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi had scored just 16 runs and was dismissed by Charles Lachmund during the seventh over, and after that, captain Aysush Mhatre was also dismissed by Ben Gordon. Vihaan Malhotra scored a gritty knock of 40 runs off 52 balls and helped the team post a target of more than 100 runs by stitching a partnership of 69 runs for the third wicket with Vedant Trivedi. Trivedi scored a match-winning knock of 86 runs off 92 balls, in which he had smashed eight fours.

Trivedi also stitched a 99-run partnership with Rahul Kumar, and then Will Byrom and Kasey Barton took their wickets. Both Byrom and Barton took a three-wicket haul, and despite that, the visitors posted a target of 280 runs.

Khilan Patel and Udhav Mohan run through Australia U19

India's star pacer Udhav Mohan dismantled Australia's batting attack by taking three quick wickets in the first seven overs and registered match-winning figures of 3/26. The hosts were able to bounce back as openers Alex Turner and Tom Hogan stitched a brilliant partnership of 50 runs and took the scorecard to 89 runs.

Kanishk Chauhan then helped the Men in Blue get the much-needed breakthrough, and Khilan Patel's 4-er helped the team rattled the host lower-order batting attack as they went from 89/3 to 113/10 and the visitors won the match by 167 runs and also won the series by 3-0.
