Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 21: 'Adipurush', featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, is reaching the final stages of its theatrical run. Directed by Om Raut, the film has been generating less than Rs 50 lakh in daily earnings in India recently. Despite new releases hitting the theatres, there are no indications of the film gaining momentum at the box office. According to reports, the mythological film seems to be a financial loss for the producers. However, an official statement from T-Series, the production company, is yet to be released.

Amid various controversies, 'Adipurush', starring Prabhas, premiered in theatres on June 16. The film had a wide pan-Indian release, being showcased in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

As it approaches the conclusion of its theatrical run, 'Adipurush' has accomplished a successful three-week stint in cinemas. However, in recent days, the film's earnings at the Indian box office have been ranging from Rs 20-35 lakh. According to reports, it appears that the film has resulted in financial losses for the producer.

Previously, T-Series declared that ‘Adipurush’ had surpassed a worldwide gross of Rs 450 crore. While some skeptics argue that this figure may have been manipulated, other industry experts highlight the possibility of the film incurring a loss of Rs 50 crore or even more. A definitive official statement regarding the matter is awaited and expected to provide clarity on the situation.

About Adipurush:

'Adipurush' is an adaptation of Valmiki's ‘Ramayana’, presenting a mythological narrative. The 3D film, written and directed by Om Raut, has faced severe criticism nationwide for its use of "tapori" dialogues, subpar visual effects, and unengaging screenplay. Prabhas portrays the character of Raghava, Kriti Sanon takes on the role of Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan appears as Lankesh in the film.

Lakshman was portrayed by Sunny Singh, while Devdatta Nage took on the role of Lord Hanuman in the film. The technical team includes cinematographer Karthik Palani and editors Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre.
