BTS’ Jin has embarked on an exciting new journey, venturing into the world of Korean traditional distilled liquor. Partnering with renowned chef Baek Jong Won, the duo launched a brand named Jini's Lamp (also known as IGINI). As always, Jin's family has shown immense support for his endeavours, with his older brother, Kim Seok Joong, sharing a heartfelt yet playful message to encourage the K-pop star.

On December 20, Kim Seok Joong took to Instagram to share glimpses of a pop-up event celebrating the launch of Jin and Baek Jong Won’s new liquor brand. Among the shared photos, one stood out: Seok Joong writing a message on a feedback board at the event. His note to Jin reflected their sibling bond and lighthearted humour, saying, “[You] make a lot...’ll drink a lot.” This playful yet supportive gesture won fans' hearts, showcasing the strong bond between the brothers.

Kim Seok Joong also shared more photos from the event, offering fans a closer look at the launch. His posts highlighted the family’s unwavering support for Jin’s venture, which has been praised by fans for its creativity and cultural significance.

For those unfamiliar, Jin’s new venture is a collaboration with chef Baek Jong Won, widely recognized for his appearances on cooking variety shows and as a judge on the hit reality competition Culinary Class Wars. Together, they created Jini’s Lamp, a traditional distilled liquor brand. Photos of the brand's first physical store have surfaced online, revealing a stunning red-brick exterior and a minimalist interior design that reflects the duo’s refined taste. The store also features a cheerful message, WHERE SMILES BEGIN, symbolizing Jin’s commitment to bringing joy to his fans.

On the professional front, Jin has had a remarkable year following his military discharge on June 12. He made a grand return during BTS FESTA 2024 and appeared on various variety shows. Jin also made waves in the music scene with his first solo album, released on November 15.

Titled Happy, the album includes the title track Running Wild, the pre-release single I’ll Be There, and four additional B-sides. Jin’s ability to balance his music career and new business venture has left fans inspired. His brother’s heartfelt support adds another layer of warmth to this exciting chapter in Jin’s journey. Fans continue to celebrate Jin’s success and the love he shares with his family.
