Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 15: 'Gadar 2' directed by Anil Sharma, experienced a surge in its box office earnings on its third Saturday. The movie managed to accumulate almost Rs 13 crore on the 16th day since its release. Produced by Zee Studios, 'Gadar 2' features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in prominent roles. The film hit the theatres on August 11.

'Gadar 2' garnered approximately Rs 12.50 crore nett in India on its sixteenth day, according to preliminary estimates on Sacnilk.com. The film accumulated Rs 284.63 crore during its first week and Rs 134.47 crore during its second week. As of now, the film's overall earnings in India now stand at Rs 438.70 crore. According to the report, the movie has secured the position of being the third-highest-grossing Hindi film in terms of nett collections of all time. It had an overall occupancy rate of 41.20 per cent on August 26.

'Gadar 2' serves as a follow-up to the well-received first part, 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' which premiered in 2001. The original movie was centred around the backdrop of the 1947 Indian Partition and featured Sunny Deol in the role of Tara Singh, a truck driver, alongside Ameesha Patel portraying Sakeena. In 'Gadar 2,' the character Tara Singh undertakes a daring journey across the border with the aim of rescuing his son, essayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan.

Industry experts have forecasted that 'Gadar 2' is poised to pose a significant challenge to the domestic box office records set by movies like 'Pathaan' and 'Baahubali 2.' While 'Pathaan' currently holds the top position with a domestic collection of Rs 543.05 crore, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,' holds a lifetime domestic collection of Rs 510.99 crore.

After the movie's collection reached Rs 400 crore, Sunny Deol took to Instagram to share his happiness. He posted a video in which he conveyed his appreciation for the audience. Sunny remarked, "Thank you everyone that you liked 'Gadar 2.' I never thought this would happen. We have crossed Rs 400 crore and will go further. It was possible only because of you. You all liked the film. You all liked Tara Singh, Sakeena and the whole family. Thank you."
