Padukone family might soon have a connection with the Deol family. Anisha Padukone, sister of Deepika Padukone, is reportedly set to marry businessman Rohan Acharya in the coming months — a development that may link her to one of Bollywood’s most iconic families, the Deols. The connection stems from Rohan’s sister, Drisha Acharya, who is married to Karan Deol, the elder son of veteran actor Sunny Deol.

According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer Singh may have played a key role in bringing Anisha Padukone and Rohan Acharya together. The actor is said to share a close bond with both families, and he recently worked with Dharmendra in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), also starring Alia Bhatt.

A source quoted by the publication claimed, "Ranveer Singh could well have played cupid. Ranveer’s parents and Sumit Acharya share a strong bond. It’s a wonderful family, and Anisha and Rohan naturally connected as they met at various gatherings."

His mother, Chimoo Acharya, formerly the marketing head of a major firm, transitioned into entrepreneurship in 2002 by launching her own events company, which debuted with a high-profile concert featuring Bollywood star Aamir Khan.
