The Bengal Files Advance Booking: Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's The Bengal Files, the final installment of his critically acclaimed truth-revealing trilogy following The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files, is set against the horrific backdrop of Direct Action Day on August 16, 1946, in Calcutta. The nation was already rocked by its trailer, but viewers were taken aback by the brutal trailer's unwavering honesty. As the release date of the movie nears, the makers have opened the advance bookings.

The Bengal Files director Vivek Agnihotri dropped an intriging poster on X (previously Twitter) to announce that advance booking are now open. "Advance booking open now. The truth of Hindu Genocide cannot be hidden anymore. #TheBengalFiles is not just a film, it’s an experience that will shake your soul," he wrote.

The Bengal Files, the last installment of director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's Files trilogy, is generating a lot of buzz among both audiences and the trade. There are high hopes for Agnihotri's most recent project after the monumental success of The Kashmir Files (2022), which became one of India's biggest post-pandemic blockbusters.

The Kashmir Files became one of the most profitable movies in Indian cinema history, shocking the industry by earning over 340 crores worldwide on a relatively small budget, as per industry tracking site, sacnilk.

Bengal Files Release Date

Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri are the producers of The Bengal Files, which is written and directed by Agnihotri. Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Mithun Chakraborty star in the historical drama. The Bengal Files is a part of Vivek's Files trilogy, which also includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files. It is presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha Productions. The movie will be released in theaters on September 5th, 2025.
