Triptii Dimri created a niche for herself after showcasing versatility in her films such as Laila Majnu, Bulbbul and Animal. The actress got fame mostly after she appeared in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. Her fan following skyrocketed after the 2023 movie. Now, the actress is on cloud nine, grabbing all the opportunities that she deserves after working for several years. Recently, she described the changes after appearing in the film. She also talked about the inhibitions she had initially, as it was a short role.

In an interview with Filmfare, Triptii Dimri said, “Life took a 360-degree turn after Animal. It has been a blessing, truly. The recognition I thought I would get during Laila Majnu actually came with Animal. I felt, since it was such a short role, mera kya hi hoga. But director Sandeep (Reddy Vanga) sir had confidence in me.”

Dimri recalled Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s words, “He told me this film would prove to be very good for me, and whatever he said is exactly what happened. It has been such a blessing, and I have received so much love. I am also glad that because of Animal, people went back and watched my earlier films, Bulbbul, Qala and Laila Majnu.”

Triptii Dimri will soon be working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his upcoming anticipated project, Spirit. The movie initially had Deepika Padukone in the female lead opposite Prabhas. But due to the star’s reported high demand for pay cheque and 8-hour shift. Padukone was ousted from the project and then Triptii came on board. The movie is expected to be released in theatres in 2026. She will be also seen in Vanga’s Animal Park.

Apart from Spirit and Animal Park, Triptii recently completed her shoot of Romeo in Spain. The film marks the first collaboration with Shahid Kapoor. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Disha Patani in special appearances. The film is expected to be released in theatres on December 5, 2025.
