At an old award function, Shah Rukh Khan was seen playfully asking Priyanka Chopra to marry him. Shah Rukh, known for his bold and witty demeanour, playfully engaged Priyanka Chopra through an AV and even serenaded her with a song, humorously asking her to marry him.

While waiting for her response, both the audience and Priyanka Chopra appeared visibly speechless, making it one of the most controversial moments for SRK fans.

As Priyanka struggled to find a suitable reply, SRK once again interjected, playfully suggesting that she could respond with a cheeky kiss gesture, further teasing and embarrassing her on the AV.

Back then among the two, Shah Rukh Khan was already married to Gauri Khan, whereas Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with American pop star Nick Jonas much later in 2018. Neither of them never officially confirmed the rumours of being in a relationship.

However, in 2017, when Priyanka Chopra appeared on Laura Brown's video series called 'Dirty Laundry', he showed a jacket belonging to an ex-boyfriend that she still wears and said, "It stopped being his after he had stayed back at my house once," she said. Priyanka added that he had asked her to return it, but she refused.
