West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a 12-day visit to Dubai and Spain to attract foreign investment to her state, was seen jogging in her signature white saree and slippers in Madrid, Spain.
The Bengal CM was jogging alongside members of her entourage in a park in Madrid. She was seen jogging in a saree and slippers while wearing a smartwatch on her wrist.

The video was shared on her official Instagram handle with the caption, "Refreshing morning. A nice jog can energise you for the day ahead. Stay fit, stay healthy everyone!" Through the video, Banerjee gave the message to remain fit and healthy.

Banerjee has been praised for her fitness. Earlier in 2019, she was seen cycling in Kolkata and is also known to go for walks and running in the morning.
In another video shared by Banerjee on her Instagram handle, she is seen performing a tune on an accordion, a box-shaped musical instrument, in a park and said, "Music is forever; Music should grow and mature with you, following you right on up until you die."

Reportedly, Mamata Banerjee is likely to meet with the President of La Liga, a prominent Spanish football league, to discuss a football agreement. A delegation of various prominent football clubs from Kolkata has reportedly travelled to Spain along with the chief minister.

Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to hold a series of meetings ahead of the 7th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS), which will be held on November 21-22 in Kolkata.
“I am going abroad after a gap of five years even though I had multiple invitations. All these years, I didn’t get the nod (from the Centre). Some invitations are pending with me even now. I don’t want to travel too far so that I may return quickly if there is any emergency,” the West Bengal CM told reporters on Monday.
