Following the directives from Greater Noida Authority’s CEO, NG Ravi Kumar, the Health Department team is continuously conducting a cleanliness drive, taking action against those spreading litter by throwing rubbish indiscriminately, while also raising awareness among residents. 

On Sunday, a team led by Kuldeep Sharma, Assistant Manager of the Greater Noida Authority's Health Department, inspected the cleanliness in Chhoti Milak village, located in Greater Noida West. Along with the inspection, the people were also made aware of the need not to throw rubbish indiscriminately and to improve cleanliness.

During the drive in Chhoti Milak village, the team imposed a fine of Rs 10,500 on Blinkit Commerce Private Limited for throwing rubbish indiscriminately. Meanwhile, the Health Department team also caught a tractor-trolley illegally dumping garbage near Sector Ecotech 12 on the service road of the 130-metre road. The department has seized the vehicle, with the release to be made after the fine amount is paid. 

Following this, the team led by Assistant Manager Kuldeep Sharma also inspected the cleanliness arrangements in Sector Beta-1 and Gamma-1 on Sunday. Households were asked whether the waste collection vehicle arrives daily. 

The relevant staff were instructed to act on the residents' suggestions. Meanwhile, Assistant Manager of the Health Department, Gaurav Baghel, and his team honoured residents in Sector-36 who segregate wet and dry waste by garlanding them. 

The Health Department team is continuously conducting such drives in Sector P-3, Sigma-1, Sigma-2, Sigma-3, Sigma-4, Sector-36 and Sector-37. The sector residents have praised this effort by the Authority, by assuring their full cooperation in further improving the cleanliness system.

The Feedback Foundation team also raised awareness among the people. Greater Noida Authority's ACEO Srilakshmi VS has appealed to residents to segregate waste and not to throw it indiscriminately, but to hand it over only when the waste collection vehicle arrives. She has also appealed for cooperation in making Greater Noida clean.
