Viral Video: You might have seen live news, interviews, events and even celebrations, but have you also seen a ‘live chori’? Well, if the answer is a sad ‘no’, then it soon is going to turn into an excited ‘yes’, as a video of somewhat the same was recently shared on social media. The said video was of an elderly man, who was travelling in an Indian Railways train. Suddenly, the man began to leave, but also attempted to take another passenger’s bag with him, which was kept near the elderly on the floor. However, his attempt ended in a huge ‘fail’, as the owner of the bag caught the uncle by his neck.

The video went viral and left people reacting in all kinds of ways. The date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh over this Old Man tried to Steal a Passenger bag Inside Indian Railways.”

The video went viral as people began to react to it, soon after it was shared. Some dubbed the clip ‘scripted’, while the rest expressed sympathies for the elderly, for stealing at this age. Some also demanded stricter rules from the Government, against such instances. The video was shared two days ago and pulled 296K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Railway and metro in north India should install cameras in all trains and make reels of all fights and post on social media themselves. Make: RRD(Railway Reel Department). Whatever they earn from uploading the content should be used for the betterment of railways,” a user said.

“This is a pre-planned video,” added a second person. “There must be some problems that the uncle might be facing, but stealing was surely not the way to overcome. If he has kids, what are those kids even doing,” joined a third user. “This video looks somewhat pre-planned because how did the cameraman know what the uncle was about to do,” wrote a fourth user.
