Delhi Metro Viral Video: A troubling brawl broke out between a passenger and two CISF personnel at the security checkpoint of the Delhi metro, the video of which was later shared on social media. As per the reports, the fight erupted over the passenger allegedly carrying meat inside the Delhi metro. For those unaware, several items, including raw meat or fish, are completely banned in the metro. The incident reportedly took place at Delhi’s Seelampur Metro Station, whereas the date could not be confirmed.

The video, at first, showed the two parties arguing and abusing, which then turned into an ugly fight outside the metro station. The clip went viral on the internet and received a mixed reaction from people.

Circling back to Delhi metro rules, items like “unsealed raw meat or fish, blood, unsealed plant or sampling, manures, human body parts and ashes, dead animal carcasses, skeletons, bones, rags” are completely banned in the Delhi metro, as per reports.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’.

The clip triggered a mixed reaction among people. Some questioned the rule of banning certain items inside the metro, while some chastised the behaviour that was displayed by the man and the security personnel. The video was shared yesterday and pulled 366K views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “This guy was carrying raw meat which is illegal due to fear of infection in the compartment,” a user said. “He shouldn't have misbehaved, rules apply to everyone for safety reasons,” commented the second person. “This is exactly why you have guards stationed there,” added a third user.

“Some people are very arrogant and not understanding. But the question is why meat is banned to travel in the metro. So many people can buy from their favourite shop and need to return home. Or the delivery guys who don’t have scooters. What will they do,” added a fourth person. “He should get jail sentence & penalty for resisting security checking and abusing,” commented next.
