Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 24: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's much-anticipated film 'Adipurush' initially sparked great excitement among the audience. However, the movie helmed by director Om Raut failed to meet the high expectations and gradually lost its momentum. Although 'Adipurush' did not face a complete box office failure and managed to garner decent collections during its first week, the film is currently witnessing a decline in its popularity.
Prabhas' movie is approaching the conclusion of its theatrical journey and is currently facing difficulties in surpassing the Rs 40 lakh mark in terms of earnings. Despite making efforts to enhance the film by revising dialogues and issuing apology notes, it has unfortunately failed to gain traction at the box office and continues to underperform.
Prabhas' film 'Adipurush' made its grand entry into theatres on June 16 amidst a whirlwind of controversies. The movie was released across India in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring a wide reach for the audience.

Despite being highly anticipated, the film 'Adipurush', helmed by director Om Raut, failed to meet expectations and encountered a lacklustre performance at the box office. The movie was criticised for its subpar visual effects, weak dialogue, and storytelling, resulting in its premature exit from theatres before completing a month-long run. In recent days, 'Adipurush' has been struggling to earn between Rs 20-35 lakh at the Indian box office.
About Adipurush:
'Adipurush' is a cinematic interpretation of the ancient Indian epic 'Ramayana', which portrays the timeless battle between good and evil. The story follows Raghav, the prince of the Ikshvaku dynasty hailing from Kosala, who is compelled to embark on a 14-year exile in the wilderness alongside his wife Janaki and younger brother Shesh. In the idyllic surroundings of Panchvati, nestled by the Godavari river, Raghav, Janaki, and Shesh embrace their peaceful existence.
However, their tranquillity is disrupted when the demoness Shurpankha, driven by her sinister motives, tries to entice the brothers and orchestrates a deadly attack on Janaki. In a twist of fate, Shurpankha suffers severe consequences, losing her ears and nose in the process. Fuelled by vengeance, the Demon King Lankesh learns of his sister's humiliation and decides to abduct Janaki as an act of retaliation. Determined to rescue her, Raghav and Shesh embark on a perilous journey, aided by the Monkey King Sugriv, his loyal companion Bajarang, and an army of courageous monkeys.
Prabhas takes on the role of Raghava, the protagonist, in the film, while Kriti Sanon portrays the character of Janaki. Saif Ali Khan brings the antagonist Lankesh to life with his powerful performance. Sunny Singh impresses as Lakshman, while Devdatta Nage embodies the beloved character of Lord Hanuman. Behind the camera, the film boasts the remarkable cinematography skills of Karthik Palani, while Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre masterfully handle the editing.
